Dear PDAS families-
We hope you are well. Previously, we communicated that PDAS would be closed for a minimum of 2 weeks. Due to the ongoing health crisis we are now extending our program closure indefinitely until further notice, or until Boston Public Schools open again.
Please have students join us online at PDAS’s Discord Server for community, homework help, and online group activities.
We hope to reopen as soon as possible but only when it is clearly in the best interests of students, staff, and our wider community.
Note that all church gatherings are currently also suspended or moving to online streaming until further notice, including youth groups and worship services. Please check our church website for updates: www.bcec.net/coronavirus

祝你們安康。較早前，我們宣布步上光明路課後班將會暫停至少兩週。鑑於現時新冠病毒的疫情，我們決定延長關閉課後班，直至另行通知，或直至波士頓公立學校重開。
請讓學生參與我們課後班的網上 Discord 群組，我們將在線上提供功課支援、與學生通訊、和小組活動。
雖然我們盼望能夠早日重開課後班，但我們仍然要為學生、導師、和整個社區的福祉着想。

Dear PDAS families-
Our priority is always the well-being of our students and staff. With an increasing number of community programs and school districts cancelling activities around the City of Boston, we have decided now is the time to suspend PDAS programs due to coronavirus concerns. While we have no incidences of infection in the PDAS community or the church, we are closing out of increased precaution.
Beginning Monday, March 16, PDAS will be closed for a minimum of 2 weeks.
At the end of 2 weeks, March 27, we will update the PDAS community about whether we will reopen or remain closed. We hope to reopen as soon as possible but only when it is clearly in the best interests of students, staff, and our wider community.

致步上光明路課後班家庭：
學生和導師的福祉當然是我們最優先的考慮。隨著新型冠狀病毒的蔓延，加上波士頓市一帶越來越多社區和校區取消活動，現在我們相信也是合適的時候暫停課後班。雖然至今在課後班以致教會內都沒有確診個案，但我們關閉的主因是加強預防措施。
從三月十六日星期一開始，步上光明路課後班將暫停至少兩週。
待兩週過後，即三月二十七日，我們會再次通知課後班的家長和同學，有關我們會否重開或是繼續關閉。雖然我們盼望能夠早日重開課後班，但我們仍然要為學生、導師、和整個社區的福祉着想。
